This note is to let everyone know what is happening with Prodigies of War. I am sorry to say that the time has come for an ending of this kinship. I arrived at this conclusion after much discussion with kin members. There simply is not the will among our ranks to put in the work necessary to have us grow and flourish. And it would take work.
Rather than see us just dwindle down to nothing, I have decided it is best to put an end to things in a way that can keep as many of us together as possible.
I have talked to the leaders of two different kinships that I think will meet the needs of our members. There are already people you know well in both. You should receive an invitation to either one you prefer. There are 2 choices because I don't believe that either one alone will suit everyone.
The first kinship is Guardians of Gondor. This is the one that Grimaximus and Sorceress/Onix have joined. Their website is at
www.guardiansofgondor.com. They are focused on the end-game of LotRO. For those of you who want to raid and/or PvPM as a freep, this may be the place to go. This kin is working hard to get everyone able to raid everything that comes along.
They will accept all levels and classes from us, but most members are around level 50 at this point. Members should be 17 years of age or older. Read the charter and fill out an application. Speak with Kryptix, the leader, or another officer and you should receive an invite. Please let me know you are headed there and I will inform Kryptix for you.
New members will be recruits for 2 weeks while everyone gets to know each other. If you raid during this time, you are expected to not roll on class loot as they are trying to complete everyone's class sets. At the end of that time, you are a full member with all privileges and they start helping you get your class set completed. Make sure to ask so you know what wo expect.
While it may sound pretty intense, they are out to have fun as well. It is just that they have a goal in mind. That is, being able to experience everything that LotRO makes available, including the large raids in instances and the Ettenmoors. They don't have required attendance at raids. So if you fled that from WoW or EQ, but still enjoy raiding, consider GoG.
The second kinship is Desponte Illuminate Avate Set. The leader there is Broonor. This is the kinship where Kasie and Eoch went earlier today. Littlewrenn, Ampookimborn, and Dalanyth are there as well. This is a friendly kinship with similar ideas to what you have come to know here. There will be grouping and venturing to places like Helegrod, but that is not the focus of the kinship.
All levels and classes are welcome.

I don't have as much to say about this second kinship. That isn't because I think any less of them. It is just a matter of the first one having spelled out in more detail what they are about. I think that either one would be an excellent choice for PoW members, which is why I'm presenting them to you here.
I have enjoyed my time with all of you and wish you the best. Finandir is heading to GoG for the time being. I've never been in a raiding focused-guild and am interested to give it a try. If possible, I will have my alt, Bandamond, in DIAS to help me keep in touch with everyone. I plan on levelling him as well, but more slowly. Both kinships seem to be great places and I hope one of them will meet your needs.
I will likely switch leadership to one of my alts in the next day or two. Prodigies of War will be formally disbanded sometime in the next week or so. I want to give people a chance to head elsewhere first if possible.
